BETTER IMPACT FORCE MANAGEMENT: With 16.3% better impact force management than traditional air-sprung dampers, GENIE in the Stumpy 15 makes the bike feel as if it has much more travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15, with 145 mm at the rear, and our Enduro with 170 mm both use 101 mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080 N.
MORE TRACTION: Extensive testing in the lab and on trails has shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE has 57% better traction characteristics compared to a conventional air-sprung damper. Our new GENIE technology provides the smooth performance of a steel spring, ensuring more contact with the ground than a regular air-sprung damper. LESS BOTTOM-OUTS: The harder the hits; the more the "silent reserve" of GENIE reveals its full potential: In the last 30% of the suspension travel, the damping resistance progressively increases - thereby reducing the potential bottom-out frequency and intensity.
PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers big bike virtues on demand, a lightweight and agile steering feel in tight sections, and extremely efficient climbing capabilities. The central, spacious cockpit centers riders for optimal traction and cornering control.
