The Chisel is specifically designed to conquer modern cross-country trails and race courses at top speeds. It actually shares many of the contemporary features of its Epic Hardtail counterpart, but comes in a more budget-friendly package, making it the most efficient and high-performing alloy hardtail.
This Chisel is equipped with the proven SRAM NX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain, Level T hydraulic disc brakes, a RockShox Judy Gold fork, and 27 mm wide aluminum rims that are fitted with 2.35-inch Fast Track Control tires.
We wondered, “How can we deliver pro-level performance at a price more riders can afford?” The answer is D'Aluisio Smartweld technology. Smartweld allows us to create the most consistent and strongest welds while optimizing the use of flexible, hydroformed aluminum tubes. The result? A frame that weighs just 1,350 g, making it one of the lightest aluminum hardtails, while also providing size-appropriate stiffness.
Additionally, the Chisel features all the modern characteristics one would expect from an XC bike, such as progressive XC geometry with a 68-degree head tube angle and longer reach, internal cable routing, a threaded bottom bracket, Boost spacing, compatibility for a 30.9 mm dropper post, and 1x drivetrains.
