For the new Caledonia-5, we focused on improvements that would be significant for those pushing it to its limits. The biggest change you’ll notice is the addition of frame storage, which you may have first seen on the P-series. It’s not designed to hold a banana, but just a small multi-tool, a spare tube, and a CO2 cartridge. Next, we looked at comfort: The seat stays are lowered, like on the Aspero, making the rear triangle more vertically flexible. At the same time, there’s a bit more stiffness in the down tube to maintain the pro-level responsiveness that the Caledonia is known for. It still accommodates large tires (36 mm), and every bike comes with fender mounts. Like all Cervélos, the Caledonia-5 is UCI approved and comes with a lifetime warranty.
