Thanks to our patented manufacturing method, we have built the most powerful, agile, well-balanced, and dynamic aluminum gravel bike of all time. It is perfect for the fastest rides at the highest level or simply for having an incredible amount of fun. Some might call it a copy, but for us, it deserves its own name – Crux DSW. MINIMAL WEIGHT: A size 56 frame with the lightest paint weighs just 1,399 grams. Even though other series frames may deviate from this, the Crux DSW stands as the lightest aluminum gravel bike ever. Combined with our FACT 12r Crux carbon fork, this performance-oriented and extremely robust Crux DSW has a total weight of 9.37 kg. No other aluminum gravel bike can compete with this. EXTREMELY POWERFUL: More clearance means more performance – that’s why the Crux DSW has the same tire clearance as its carbon counterpart: 47 mm with 700C and up to 2.1 inches with 650B. This allows the Crux DSW to take riders anywhere – and at full speed. INCREDBLY AGILE: Responsive on the pedals. Smooth in the saddle. D’Aluisio Smartweld allows us to fine-tune the aluminum shapes, creating a ride quality that once seemed possible only with carbon. Of course, the Crux DSW features the same performance-focused gravel geometry as its racing stablemate. The longer reach ensures better weight distribution and quick, confident handling, while the lower stack offers a performance-oriented riding position. With a bottom bracket height of 72 mm, we’ve hit the sweet spot between agility and stability. D’ALUISIO SMARTWELD: Short DSW is a patented manufacturing process based on hydroforming. This method allows precise matching of tube connections, resulting in better, stronger welds and ultimately a lighter frame. Such a frame is on average twice as durable as a conventional aluminum frame. With Smartweld, we can create a unique one-piece down tube with bottom bracket shell, saving weight and improving power transfer.
