The new champion in the aero segment - The natural evolution of our top-tier aerodynamic product - made by professionals for professionals. The Filante SLR is an extremely lightweight aerodynamic racing bike that significantly improves the stiffness-to-weight ratio. We used the same materials and technologies as in the production of the Wilier 0 SLR. The result is an aerodynamic frame designed for the highest demands, complementing our pure uphill bike currently used by the Astana Qazaqstan Team. The Filante SLR was developed to achieve maximum aerodynamics under real-world conditions. The analysis is based on data measured in the wind tunnel (where the wind is very clean for homogeneous empirical results), while also taking the real world into account. This way, we not only evaluate the typical data for the wind tunnel (yaw angles from -20° to +20°), but also consider the turbulence in the real world that affects the bike for various reasons. With the new aerodynamically optimized profiles, we were able to save additional weight in the frame construction. The shape without blunt cuts requires less material and less resin in the corners. As a result, the interior is more homogeneous, and the frame weighs 870 grams. With the specifications of the top model, the bike weighs 6.8 kg.
