Stromer are definitely THE S-pedelec experts in the market. The Stromer ST1 is the entry into their S-Class range. However, there is not much slimmed down here. Brake system, motor, tires - the drive and deceleration unit is at a similar level to the significantly more expensive ST3 and ST5. When it comes to performance, the Oberwangen residents do not compromise. However, Stromer has slightly downgraded the motor in the ST1.
The display and software hardly differ from the sister models. ST1 drivers, however, must do without Smartlock and GPS tracking. Further details to distinguish: Stromer does not use their own fully integrated stem on the "small" model, but rather classic bicycle parts. Grips, saddle, cranks etc. are overall about one level below the "big" models. But they are all of high quality. There are no "No Name" products at Stromer.
