When it comes to children's bicycles, the focus is on strengthening and promoting the fundamental joy of cycling. This joy— a term, a feeling, and an inspiration— begins as soon as children sit on the saddle for the first time and start pedaling. Once the passion for cycling is sparked, nothing can hold back a wonderful time outdoors filled with movement and unforgettable experiences. At Specialized, we understand that increased comfort opens the door to greater enjoyment in riding. However, due to the growth spurts that children go through, a perfectly fitting children's bicycle has only been equipped with a short-lived "just right" adjustment until now. Our development team researched and discovered that the arms and legs of children aged 5 to 12 years grow faster than their upper body. Therefore, we needed to create a bicycle that is proportionally adjustable to maintain the perfect fit for a longer period of time— introducing the Jett.
