When it comes to children's bicycles, the focus is on strengthening and promoting the foundational concept of cycling. Once the passion for cycling ignites, nothing can stop them from enjoying wonderful times outdoors, filled with physical activity and unforgettable experiences. At Specialized, we understand that increased comfort opens the door to more riding pleasure. However, due to children's growth spurts, the perfectly fitting children's bicycle has previously only been available with a short-lived "just right." Our development team researched and discovered that the arms and legs of children aged 5 to 12 grow faster than their upper body. Therefore, we needed to create a bicycle that is proportionally adjustable to maintain the perfect fit for a more extended period – enter the Jett. - We designed the Jett Singlespeed to be uniquely adjustable, featuring a longer seat post and an adjustable handlebar, allowing children to find their ideal riding position as they grow. - Every detail of the Jett Singlespeed – including the 130 mm Bridge saddle, grips with a smaller diameter, and the short, tool-free adjustable brake lever – was developed based on Retül data from a children's research group, ensuring it is perfectly tailored for kids. - A lightweight bicycle is simply more fun, and the Jett Singlespeed stands out as one of the lightest children's bicycles on the market, featuring an A1 aluminum frame, a lightweight fork, Pathfinder tires, and a singlespeed drivetrain.
