I bought the bike a month ago and additionally invested money in various components (carbon saddle, lightweight gravel tires, SP mount for light and mobile phone, SP front light). After 200 kilometers, I realize that my idea of the perfect e-bike has changed. My last e-bike (MTB) had a motor with significantly more power on climbs. The BMC is strong on flat roads, on gravel, and on light to moderate inclines. My commute is short, but it does have two climbs where I tend to exert more power than the motor does. I'm simply used to a different type of bike; otherwise, there is nothing to complain about. The motor is among the best on the market, but it is designed for a different application. In hindsight, it makes sense.
