Body height: 180 | Bike size fits
Transalpes, a Swiss MTB manufacturer, builds the lightest E-MTBs. For bikers who want to stay sporty and desire a bike that doesn't differ too much in handling from a non-motorized bike. The bike weighs about 18 kg, and the handling and agility on the trails are superb. The aggressive SRAM Mavon brakes with 203mm rotors front and rear provide the necessary safety even on challenging trails. The motor comes from Maxon, a Swiss manufacturer that also built the drive for the Mars rover. The MAXON motor operates very quietly and reliably. What sets the Transalpes E1 apart is its patented freewheel, which allows the bike to be ridden like a normal mountain bike even without motor assistance. Both the bike and the motor are very reliable.
