RIDE WITH AGILITY, EXPLORE WITHOUT LIMITS. For the new model year, the LYCAN family takes the next step: In addition to the proven aluminum models, variants with a newly developed carbon frame are available for the first time. Reduced weight, high stiffness, and precise handling provide even more dynamism on the trail. The proven STRAIGHT-LINE-LINK (SLL) suspension concept ensures sensitive responsiveness, optimal traction, and high control in challenging terrain. The Size-Split optimally coordinates wheel size and frame geometry. Size S rolls on 27.5-inch wheels and offers particularly agile handling, while sizes M, L, and XL focus on maximum rolling stability and confident rollover behavior with 29-inch wheels. The drive systems also differ between the two platforms: The aluminum models rely on the powerful Bosch Performance Line CX, while all carbon models come standard with the Bosch Performance Line CX-R. This gives the new carbon generation the performance-oriented drive that perfectly matches its sporty ambitions. An 800 Wh PowerTube ensures the necessary endurance. Thanks to the proven POWER TUBE TOP LOADER (PTTL) system, the battery can be comfortably removed from the top of the down tube and just as easily reinserted.
