The drive is powered by a Bosch motor from the sporty Performance Line CX. Depending on the gear system, it will be part of Bosch's new smart system starting in 2023. It offers additional connectivity options via the mobile app. The enduring battery ensures high range. In the configurator, Shimano derailleur gears are available as shifting options, along with the Enviolo hub gear. It allows for automatic comfort, similar to what one knows from cars. The Rohloff E-14 is also available in the automatic version. The electronic version of the Speedhub hub gear offers incredible robustness, combined with a novel shifting comfort and intelligent features such as automatic downshifting at traffic light stops. The drive is technically state-of-the-art. Only the connectivity via the mobile app is slightly limited, as Bosch's new smart system is not yet compatible with the Rohloff E-14.
