The drive is powered by a Bosch motor from the sporty Performance Line CX. Depending on the gear system, it will be part of Bosch's new smart system starting in 2023. It offers additional connectivity options via the mobile app. The durable battery ensures a high range. In the configurator, chain gear systems from Shimano are available as options, along with the Enviolo hub. It allows for automatic comfort, similar to what you would expect in a car. The Rohloff E-14 is also available in the automatic version. The electronic version of the Speedhub hub gear offers incredible robustness, combined with a novel shifting comfort and intelligent features such as automatic downshifting at traffic light stops. The drive is technically state-of-the-art. Only the connectivity via the mobile app is slightly limited, as Bosch's new smart system does not yet connect with the Rohloff E-14.
