I am selling my Cube Kathmandu, a fast German electric bike purchased a year and a half ago. Sturdy and reliable, it is suitable for people measuring between 1.80m and 1.93m and is in like-new condition. European certified, it is road-ready: it comes with a license plate, powerful headlights, a horn, and a mirror. Its Bosch motor, a benchmark in reliability and power, offers excellent acceleration in sport mode and a top speed of 45/46 km/h, with a range of 42 to 49 km. In other modes, the range can go up to 120 km, making it ideal for more leisurely and longer rides. The annual service was performed 4 months ago. The brake pads and discs have been replaced, and the electric assistance and motor have been checked: everything is in perfect condition. I also made a final visit to the shop in preparation for the sale, so the bike is ready to ride. Its German design makes it very robust and it absorbs road imperfections remarkably well, providing true comfort for daily use. I bought it when I lived in the countryside and worked in the city. The time savings were enormous compared to public transport: a journey of over an hour took just 20 minutes in sport mode. I used it regularly for a year, then much less during the last six months due to my move and business trips abroad. I now live in the city, close to my work, and I no longer have the same need for a 45 km/h bike. However, it remains a fast and versatile means of transport for city commuting. In my opinion, it is one of the best compromises in terms of range, power, consumption, and price: a 45 km/h electric bike from a German brand, very reliable, which remains affordable for this category. One point of caution: the electronic screen that allows you to change modes can be easily removed and may be stolen, so remember to take it with you when you park the bike. The final price includes an Abus lock (security level 15) as well as a helmet with visor and rain cover, so you can set off equipped and safely from the first ride.
