With its heavier frame and larger battery, we were really curious to see if everything that makes the high-end carbon Rise so appealing would be present in this more affordable model. This first test proved reassuring: although there are some noticeable differences when you really pay attention, the essential elements are preserved, and the honor of the Rise family is upheld. While we would have preferred Orbea to offer the option of battery size (360 or 540 Wh) for both carbon and aluminum, which would have allowed for an even more attractively priced aluminum Rise (since a smaller battery automatically costs a bit less), it is undeniable that this more affordable Rise is also a great success, and we are excited that it helps to expand and democratize the offerings in the lightweight e-bike segment.
