The new LANE-E is the definition of freeride. The robust set-up, combined with modern geometry, is perfectly designed for progressive trails and a radical riding style. Thanks to the Yamaha PW-X3 motor, uphill riding is as comfortable as taking a shuttle. We have overcome several challenges with the development of the E-version of LANE. The riding characteristics, influenced by the geometry and kinematics, should be equal to those of the non-motorized LANE. To achieve this, we mounted the Yamaha PW-X3 motor vertically. This allowed us to install short chainstays despite 29-inch wheels and ample tire clearance, making the bike agile.
