Interchangeable TPU contact blocks that significantly improve the contact point between shoe and pedal. The system enables a pedal interface similar to that of a road bike shoe. Road stability, power transfer, and at the same time the terrain advantages of mud rejection and quick SPD engagement. The pontoons are part of the heel interface and move vertically and laterally, ensuring consistent grip and efficiency. The pontoons are interchangeable and compatible only with the RX9; the pontoons are not compatible with the XTR PD-M9220 pedal.
