Keeps warm but... the rubber seal is hardly free of odors. Especially warm foods cause the smell to remain in the rubber despite intensive washing. The only thing that helped was removing the lid seal and washing it 2-3 times in the dishwasher. So far it is still sealed, but I don't know how long the seal can endure this torture... Unfortunately, replacement gaskets are not available!!
