The Solid Protector from the brand Bluegrass is additionally reinforced with D3O® inserts alongside the usual padding. The D3O® material remains flexible under normal conditions but hardens within a fraction of a second under impact, effectively dissipating the force outward. Thanks to the zipper, the protector can be easily put on, and the integrated silicone inserts prevent any slipping. At particularly vulnerable areas, the protector is made of Kevlar.
