The Solid Protector from the brand Bluegrass is additionally reinforced with D3O® inserts in addition to the usual padding. D3O® material remains flexible under normal conditions – however, upon impact, the material hardens in a fraction of a second and dissipates the shock force outward. Thanks to the zipper, the protector can be easily put on, and the integrated silicone inserts prevent slipping. At particularly vulnerable points, the protector is made of Kevlar.
