The Everyday Carry tool, EDC Tool System from OneUp Components is a multitool and tool solution that integrates directly into the steerer tube or fork crown. Built into the EDC tool is a mechanism that preloads the headset and replaces the clamp in the fork crown. A special headset cap (not included) is screwed into the fork crown using a cassette tool instead of the clamp, which preloads the headset. All essential tools required for roadside repairs are clipped into a plastic holder for transport, keeping them secure and rattle-free. An additional hollow cylinder, which provides space for zip ties, patches, or other small items, can be attached. Alternatively, a CO2 cartridge can fit here as well. Weighing only 110 g, the OneUp Components EDC Tool System has a central positioning that minimally impacts the handling of your bike. When combined with the EDC Pump 100cc, it becomes especially appealing for trail riders and enduro enthusiasts. Since the EDC Tool System Top Cap is screwed into the fork crown, the fork must be equipped with a thread using a fitting kit for installation. This must be done by a professional workshop, as failing to do so may void the warranty of the original fork manufacturer.
